New SRM/E Self-Regulating Heating Cable
Ideal for Industrial Applications
New OMEGALUX® SRM/E self-regulating heating cable provides safe, reliable heat tracing for process temperature maintenance and freeze protection of pipes, valves, tanks and similar applications. The 190°C (375°F) maximum exposure temperature rating allows steam cleaning of process equipment with up to 170 psig steam.
These SRM/E heating cables can be used in hazardous as well as some corrosive areas, and certain models meet specific UL, FM and CSA ratings. The cable overlaps without fear of burnout and saves energy as it self-regulates. It is available in 3, 5, 8 and 10 W/foot, 120 or 240 Vac versions in any length up to the maximum circuit length. SRM/E cable easily splices in the field and offers lower installed cost than steam, less maintenance, expense and downtime. SRM/E heat cable is made in the U.S.A.
